In order to achieve the objectives, the Foundation will endeavour to undertake the following activities:

• The awarding of the Science and Technology Prizes, to recognise outstanding achievement in the field.
• The awarding of the Science and Technology Grants, to provide financial assistance for basic research in the field.
• The awarding of the Science Education Prizes, to recognise creative and innovative contributions to effective science education in junior and senior high schools.
• All other activities related to the above.

The activities of the Foundation will not be concerned with politics, whatsoever.
