MTSF, in collaboration with the Malaysian Ministry of Education, successfully organised a promotional roadshow in the central states of Malaysia, namely Selangor on 12 March 2018 and Pahang on 14 March 2018. The aim is to further promote and introduce the SEA program among science teachers nationwide.
Besides the slides and video presentations, the 150 science teachers and education officers present were further encouraged by the two SEA past winners, namely Dr. Ikhwan Naim Bin Md Nawi and Ms. Tan Mun Wai, via their live demonstrations of their winning projects.
The Q&A sessions have indeed helped to clear some doubts of the teachers’ participation. MTSF roadshows have indeed reached out to more science teachers and educators. It is MTSF’s fervent hope that there will be more participations from these two states for the 25th MTSF program which closes on 31 May 2018.
MTSF will continue to organise these roadshows yearly in schools, institutions and universities to further promote the three MTSF programs for the benefits of the Science Education community.
