With the support of universities, MTSF successfully conducted the two roadshows at MAHSA University, Selangor (MAHSA) and International Islamic University Malaysia, Pahang (IIUM), specifically to further publicise its “Science & Technology Award” and “Science & Technology Research Grant” programs.
Led by Academician Professor Emeritus Dr. Yong Hoi Sen, Board member and Deputy Chairman of the MTSF Selection Committee, MTSF delegation was warmly welcomed at MAHSA University by its Vice Chancellor, YBhg. Academician Prof. Dato’ Dr. Khairul Anuar Bin Abdullah, who is also a member of the MTSF Selection Committee. Some 60 young researchers and postgraduates from MAHSA and other neighbouring universities were in attendance on 13 March 2018.
On 14 March 2018, MTSF visited IIUM Kuantan Campus, Pahang where some 90 young researchers and postgraduates from IIUM and Universiti Malaysia Kelantan attended the roadshow. Assoc. Prof. Dr. Nazri, the Deputy Director of Research Management Centre of IIUM welcomed the delegation and participants.
The Q&A sessions were very lively and fruitful which was satisfactorily answered by Academician Professor Emeritus Dr. Yong Hoi Sen. MTSF hopes that the young researchers and postgraduates have benefitted and look forward to more submissions from these universities.
