Invited by the University’s Research and Innovation Division, MTSF successfully organised a promotional roadshow at Universiti Teknologi MARA (UiTM), Perlis Branch to promote “Science & Technology Award” and “Science & Technology Research Grant”. The Roadshow, held on the 20th March 2019 attracted some 75 academicians and postgraduate students, including those coming from neighbouring university like Universiti Malaysia Perlis.
During the one and half hour session, the participants were briefed on the objectives, application criteria and expectations of the two MTSF programs. The Q&A session, held after the slides presentations, gave more insights into the Foundation’s operations and activities. The informative roadshow has indeed inspired and evoked more interests among the many participants present.
Looking forward, MTSF plans to conduct more roadshows across the nation to encourage more young Malaysian researchers to take the plunge and accept the challenge of conducting world-class researches, through the research grants and award offer by MTSF.
